- View clinician fee schedules
- Submit and track an inquiry
- Submit electronic claims
- Track claims status online
- See if a patient has coverage and what services are covered
- Send Wellmark preservice requests or notifications for certain procedures and services
Before You Begin
Providers enrolled in Iowa or South Dakota may register for secure online access.
To begin, assign an employee as designated security coordinator (DSC) for your organization. The DSC:
- Completes the registration process.
- Assigns access rights for staff to the various applications once the registration process is complete.
Note: Wellmark accepts one DSC per Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). Before continuing, please make sure your TIN is not already registered. If you are not sure, contact Wellmark’s Web Security at websecurity@wellmark.com.
Secure Access Registration
Providers must be enrolled in Iowa or South Dakota to register. Providers who are not enrolled cannot apply.

Note: If your Taxpayer Identification is already registered with Wellmark.com and you are only adding Create & Submit Claims, see Optional Registration below.

Accept the online Terms and Conditions, and complete the DSC registration form. Select OK to complete the process.

Optional Registration
After you have received confirmation from Wellmark that you have secure online access, you may register for the Create & Submit Claim tool.
The Create & Submit a Claim tool is suitable for submitting a small number of professional (CMS 1500) claims electronically. To register:
Print and sign one copy of the form, sending it to the EC Solutions address, fax number, or e-mail address at the bottom of the Agreement.
